Volunteer to Make a Difference in our Community
Volunteer opportunities exist in each of the following areas: Shelter/Crisis Line, Youth Programs, Transition Program, Administration, Development/Fundraising, Facilities Maintenance, and Board of Directors. We can accommodate student practica and internships. Please inquire if you are interested. Volunteer positions working with participants require completion of a 32-40 hour training.
Some examples of specific volunteer positions we can offer are: Youth Program Volunteer, Youth Field Trip Coordinator, Youth Support Group Facilitator, Respite Care Youth Advocate, Child Case Manager, Apartment Cleaner, Life Skills Teaching, Movers, and Child Care Provider.
There are many opportunities to volunteer behind the scenes, in administrative work, or for maintenance work parties that do not require special training.
