Odd Ones in 3
Hi! I'm Katie Lee G, and I'm so excited that Odd Barbell is hosting our annual Odd Ones In, a full-power, inclusive powerlifting meet, to be held on March 22nd, 2025!
Myself and many members of Odd have a common need for a space that is affirming, inclusive, and empowering, that allows us to be ourselves, and get stronger. We've found sense of belonging at Odd Barbell, and are extending our gym home to the greater community, who we wish to get stronger with, together.
It's important for us to uplift and support others who share similar values and we've found that with Bradley Angle!
Bradley Angle's mission is to serve all people affected by domestic violence. They do this by placing people experiencing, or at risk of, domestic violence at the center of their services and by providing them to safety, education, healing, and hope. We will specifically be directing our impact towards Marsha's Folx, a program specifically supporting LGBTQIA+ survivors of domestic and sexual violence, by ways of individual advocacy, safety planning, support groups, and other resources and tools of self-empowerment.
Just by signing up to lift, you are helping to support Bradley Angle, and therefore benefiting the community, because domestic violence doesn't just impact individuals and families; it affects every one of us.
