Call to Action
On April 2, Bradley Angle joined advocates in Salem to urge lawmakers to protect and fund life-saving services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Several key bills on the table are stopgap efforts—meant to prevent devastating cuts caused by federal funding shortfalls, especially from VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) grants, which face a 42% reduction.
These bills support:
⚪ HB 3196 & POP 327: Essential funding for shelter & advocacy programs
⚪ HB 3070: SANE Certification Training for forensic medical providers
⚪ SB 710: Judicial education in DV/SA cases
Without state funding, Bradley Angle's ability to provide culturally-specific programming for Black/African American and LGBTQ2SIA+ survivors is severely threatened.
