Advocacy doesn’t take a summer break.
Survivors in our community continue to face barriers to housing, systemic violence, and healing journeys that require consistent, centered, and compassionate support.
This month at Bradley Angle, we’re deepening our commitment to showing up with intention, accountability, and love.
Thank you for being part of this community.
🌈 Looking Back on June🌈
Bradley Angle Block Party (June 21)There’s nothing like a Bradley Angle Block Party‼️
The rain couldn’t dampen our fun filled day. The community came for an afternoon of bouncing, sliding, duck pond diving, delicious cotton candy and ice cream, ring toss, basketball shots, and so much more. Attendess left with books in one hand to foster summer reading, prizes galore in the other from all their game playing and adorned in face paint and temporary tattoos.
A special thank you to our staff and volunteers for such a wonderful community event and to our event sponsors: Rivermark CU, Fresh Faces RX, OnPoint CU, Nico’s Ice Cream, Children’s Book Bank, Clouds of Sugar, and Milk Crate Kitchen for making the Bradley Angle Block Party a day of summer fun even if we were missing the ☀️
Drag Queen Painting Night (June 20)
Our LGBTQIA+ community had an unforgettable evening at Bottle & Bottega with Drag Queen Valerie DeVille—paintbrushes, laughter, and empowerment! Proceeds benefited our Marsha’s Folx program, offering vital support and cultural connection.
Juneteenth Reflections (June 19)
We celebrated Juneteenth with staff reflections, embracing Black culture, joy, and resilience. It was a powerful reminder of our commitment to equity and inclusion.
