We are helping survivors grow into their power.
Black/ African American women are three times more likely to experience violence in their homes.
Safety and healing doesn’t look the same for everyone, which is why Bradley Angle’s Healing Roots & Kinship Programs provide culturally specific and responsive services for Black/ African American survivors of domestic violence and their children.
74% of the survivors we served last year were Black/ African American. We offer culturally-specific workshops, support groups, family outings, opportunities for community, and financial support to navigate the many challenges that Black/ African American families face due to the impacts of domestic, interpersonal and child abuse.
And I think it’s important to share that at Bradley Angle 70% of our staff are Black/ African American- reflecting the communities we serve and bringing lived experience to their advocacy.
We are helping survivors grow into their power, rewrite their stories, and shape their futures. Support this work today through Give!Guide.
Warmly,
